Toronto Smalltalk User Group

We are an informal group of Smalltalk enthusiasts.

Meetings are scheduled every three months, typically the first Monday of the month, starting at 6:30pm.
TMU room ENG288 (at the SE corner of Gould, just north of Dundas), 245 Church Street. Knock at the hallway door.

Next meeting is Monday, January 6

We're considering an "intro to Smalltalk" meeting where we invite other software meetup groups to join us.

Last meeting was Monday, October 7

Dave Mason gave a talk on “Inlining Smalltalk is harder than it looks”. One of his students reprised their IWST talk on compiling to LLVM.

Meeting schedule.

We use Meetup to schedule meetings.

At each meeting we have several code examples and questions, which lead to spirited discussions about the state of Smalltalk, and computer programming in general. Most of us then go out for a nice dinner at Salad King (where we get a 30% discount) and more conversation.

If you have a topic or question for the next meeting, post a message in Meetup and it will be added to the agenda.
